Vijay in MGR(Vijay's 50th movie titled "MGR")

We all know about actor Vijay’s 49th movie ‘Vaettaikaran’ which is all set to be directed by debut director Babu sivan. His 50th movie will be directed by Jeyam Raja produced by the actor’s father SA chandrasekaran. The movie is titled MGR, as the actor itself is inspired by the ‘Purachithalaivar MGR’, that his fan can notice in almost all of his movies. His 49th movie will start filming by March.
We hope Vijay is ready to give his fans big hit with this movie.

I am a die hard fan of Ilayathalapathy Vijay, not only for his mind blowing performances in movies but also as a humble human. Vijay s Azhagiya Tamil Magan was shot at Naidu Hall premises at Porur. I stay in a flat nearby and from reliable sources got the info that my hero was in there. My brother (physically challenged ) is also a Vijay fan. Initially, there was no allowing of fans as there would be a huge rush. But when Vijay saw my brother was physically challenged, he voluntarily came and approached my brother and exchanged words with him and took photographs. I also was fortunate to take pics He was my senior during school days. He exchanged a couple of sentences about our school and shook hands. I have attached the photos.

Actor Vijay started his career with the film directed by his father S.A.Chandrashekar. Struggling very hard to find his way up the film industry, vijay has performed about 40 films and is known affectionately among his fans. Now he is next to rajini in the film industry. His dance also in the screen is amazing which no actor would ever perform (i think no offence) .His film rival, Mr.Ajith Kumar ,called as 'thala' affectionately among his fans,stand a heavy competition in the film industry with vijay. But behind the scenes, they maintain a very good relationship. Also when vijay had taken breath taking scenes in villu ajith asked him to reduce such risks in future in his movies and when some ajith's movie(dont remember the title) had the name of joseph and when ajith heard it, he immediately asked the concerned persons to change the name as it had been offending actor vijay, one of his close friends.
To start with vijay, he is a terror performer on the scene. His dance really rocks the theatre and vijay has got fans of all ages worldwide. But contrary to that is his real life. He is a very soft spoken person and very quiet, which makes others attract more attention to him. He has got a lot of fan clubs all over tamilnadu. He is the "young general"(Ilaya Thalapathy)".

Ajith

Ajith Kumar("Thala") has a very good opening collection for all his movies. Ajith has had a lot of very good movies as hit. Ajith has also struggled a lot way exactly as vijay did to get to a very good position in the cinema industry. In real life, ajith kumar is a open type person and is also a jovial person. He talks out openly his joys and sorrows BUT ONLY WITH HIS CLOSE FRIENDS. he acquires friends easily and one such friend is vijay.

So is their friendship.


But vijay and ajith's fan fight with each other as to whom is the best.

Both ajith and vijay have asked their fans to stop their fight about this issue but their voices are in vain.


So fans can stop fighting over that issue.

Vijay's 'Villu' strikes Ajith!!!

After "Pokkiri", the duo of Prabhu Deva and Vijay has elated their Tamil fans with the Pongal release "Villu". Vijay has been appreciated by all his fans and now joining them is none other than his friend, Ajith. Ajith who is a star himself watched the movie and called Vijay immediately appreciating his role in the movie. Naming the movie as one of Vijay's best films, he also advised Vijay to be careful while performing breathtaking stunt scenes. Meanwhile Ajith's next movie is 'Asal' and Vijay will start with 'Vettaikaran'.

Vijay's 'Villu', though has got a good opening, it has not been declared a hit till now. Maybe in a desperate attempt to boost up the enthusiasm among the fans, the star chose to visit the theaters in Madural where his film is running. Expectedly, his die hard fans surrounded him and cheered him in adulation. During the interval time, he appeared on the screen dais and interacted with his fans and answered their questions.

The Ilayathalapathi deftly handled tricky questions from the fans. When the actor asked on whether he can be called as next Super Star, he responded in a cool manner saying that there can be only one super star and that is Rajini and nobody else. Then he went on to say that he is contented and very much satisfied with the title 'Ilya Thalapathi' and would like to be addressed with the same.

Vijay taking a ‘record break’ with Villu

Actor Vijay is on tour to Visit his stalwarts in theaters where his recent movie Villu is screened. Villu was released as Pongal treat and the movie is an instant success proving with its record breaking revenue. The actor fondly addressed as ‘Ilayathalapathy’ stated that out of all his movies ‘Villu’ topped the charts in terms of first ten days collection.

Vijay narrates “In all the movies I performed so far Villu is the first movie to score more revenue during the initial ten days. So I want to celebrate this victory with my loving fans in Coimbatore, Salem, Madurai, Pollachi and Thiruppur. At this time I would like to thank all my fans and audiences for their constant support and expect the same forever. My love for them will never change. 

He also added that his next venture ‘Vettaikaran’ will begin shooting by March.

Trivia on VIJAY ( what others said about him ) !

One time when SAC was angry with little VIJAY , he spanked him real hard . Later he felt guilty for being so harsh & immediately applied coconut oil on the injured spot !

Right from childhood , VIJAY has been an ardent fan of Rajini . In the old days , he watched the movie , Anbuku Nan adimai thrice in a day ! Morning show with mom , matinee show with an uncle without the knowledge of his parents and the night show with his dad , without telling a word to his mom .

VIJAY had acted in SAC `s movies as a child artiste. He drew everybody `s attention by saying Kalaingar `s  fiery dialogues ! SAC 's assistant director , Shankar was the person who taught him how to master dialogue delivery.

During a shoot with actress Keerthana , VIJAY was very hesitant for a smooch scene with the heroine, in the presence of his father . As a result , there were many a take . Sensing this , the unit later advised SAC to leave the shooting spot for sometime . As soon as his dad left the smooch scene was taken accurately in just one take , right away.

VIJAY still remembers Rajini `s comments at the pooja function for his debut film , Nalaya theerpu. Those golden words Nee periya nadigaanaga varuva ' are still so close to his heart.

VIJAY is known for being prompt & punctual for work at any given time . Ninaithean vanthai shooting was scheduled and was to take place early in the morning , at Maraiyur ,about 60 kms off Udamalaipettai. While driving to the location , director Selvabharathi kept thinking whether he disturbed VIJAY to reach so early . Suddenly, VIJAY 's car went past Selvabharathi 's car. VIJAY drove so fast , that the director could not keep up with his speed. ! After the director reached the location , he was very astonished to see VIJAY right on time , all set for the shoot with costumes and makeup .

Lending a helping hand and doing lots of charity work ,did not come suddenly . It begun right from school . VIJAY helped a lot of students while studying at Balalok school in Saligram. He also helped his friends who studied visual communication at Loyala college , by recommending them and provided opportunities in his movies.

There `s goes a famous saying by an English scholar : `Tell everybody that you have a lot of friends , but in reality have only a few close  friends.' And , this is exactly what VIJAY follows . During college , the actor had just a handful of close buddies . And even today , he still continues to have freindship only with them .

In 1991 , VIJAY went to visit the Vatican along with his parents and uncle. After meeting the Pope, VIJAY was very determined to become a Pope. He was very headstrong with his decision. He persuaded his parents , that first he will get to be a priest and then become a Pope . However, there is a guideline that if a boy desires to become a Pope , there should be more than two sons in a family . After being convinced by his parents about this requirement , VIJAY later had to change his mind.

Traveling in the plane for the first time , kindled another desire in VIJAY : to become a pilot. However, his mom was upset about this idea. She expressed, "you are my only son . How will it be if you're flying all the time?" After realizing that his mom was sad and a bit troubled , he dropped the idea of becoming a pilot. But now look at VIJAY ! As a hero ,he keeps flying across the sky with so much of ease during stunt sequences.

VIJAY `s childhood dream was to get an autograph from Jackie Chan and to meet up with Amitabh Bachan . Well, both his dreams came true , during Dasavatharam movie function. All three met and sat together at the movie's celebration party.

VIJAY first met his sweetheart , Sangeetha at the film city during the shoot Kaalamelam Kaathirupean. She immigrated to the UK at the age of four. Even though she was brought up in English culture , she speaks fluent Tamil. She is actively involved in designing costumes for her husband..

One of the most memorable incidents : A few years back , the actor had an unique opportunity to spend a day with the people of Manapadu village. Having ploughed the fields with the poor people and celebrating Pongal with villagers , remains one of VIJAY `s golden memories.

Ultimate Star Ajith was spotted altogether in a new getup when he came to Prarthana Drive Inn Theatre situated at ECR Road in Chennai to watch Vijay’s new flick “Villu” last Sunday(jan 18). Ajith after watching the movie praised Illayathalapathy Vijay for stunt sequences and he also asked Vijay not to take huge risks in action sequences.

It was surprising to see Ajith with a Virumandi style moustache even some of the Ajith fans present there can’t even recognized him. Hope Ajith fans will be in joy to see Ajith in different getups???

Villu Released in 432 Screens Worldwide On Jan 12th!

The much expected movie of Illayathalapathy Vijay’s Villuwill hit the screen on January 12th, two days before Pongal and it is know to all vijay fans. The latest buzz about vijay’s Villu movie is that the movie will be screened in 432 screens worldwide on January 12.

Out of 432 screens, 155 of them alone is in overseas markets, the highest ever for a Tamil film. The big opening of Villu movie at overseas market proves the growing popularity of Tamil films and big stars movies like vijay in overseas. In Kerala the movie is to be released at 70 screens, which is like a big film release of Mohanlal or Mammootty film!!!.
